Check the wick length (trim if the wick is longer than 0.5cm).
  
Light the candle for the first time long enough for the surface to melt completely (about 30 minutes to 1 hour).
  
After using the candle for about 1 to 2 hours, extinguish it and rest assured that the candle will still emit a gentle fragrance after being extinguished. (Burn the candle in an enclosed room with little traffic to retain the scent longer).
  
It is recommended to light the candle 15 to 20 minutes before entering the room. If you stop smelling the fragrance during burning, leave the room for 15 to 20 minutes and then return; this will reset your sense of smell, making it easier to detect the scent again.
  
Keep the wick trimmed to approximately 0.5cm above the candle surface to reduce the flame and prevent wick debris from falling back into the melted wax, which can be unsightly.
